Job summary

Potter Global Technologies is seeking a Production Materials Expediter to keep production lines supplied with correct components. You will retrieve items from warehouse locations, verify orders, pack materials, create shipping labels, and coordinate carrier shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have material handler experience, can follow manuals, and maintain accuracy in inventory while communicating shortages to the team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Material Handler or warehouse associate.
• Ability to read and follow written operation manuals.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in picking/packing.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from designated warehouse locations to support production and orders.
• Read work orders or follow directions to determine exact parts, containers, and quantities.
• Verify item identity and counts to match order specs.
• Pack materials in correct containers per packing requirements.
• Prevent damage by securing goods for transport.
• Create shipping labels and confirm delivery addresses; complete shipment documentation.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure on-time departures.
• Update stock levels in inventory systems and communicate shortages or overages.
