Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Production Materials Coordinator II to ensure materials, WIP, and tooling are available to maintain production flow. You will work with Production, Inventory Control, Quality, and Logistics to minimize downtime and improve inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes fast-paced, organized material movement, with emphasis on ERP/MRP/MES system transactions and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing material flow, inventory control, and WIP management.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, BOMs, pick lists, labels, and production documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP, MES, and inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Staging, replenishing, and transporting materials, components, consumables, tooling, fixtures, and WIP.
• Monitor material shortages and inventory issues affecting manufacturing efficiency.
• Deliver materials per production schedules and priorities.
• Maintain clean, audit-ready work areas with proper labeling and controls.
• Support line changeovers and material readiness activities.
• Record material movements in ERP/MES to keep inventory & WIP visibility.
