Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Material Handler to accurately and promptly move materials to and from workstations and racks, using forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks. You will follow safety rules, meet productivity standards, and maintain attendance requirements.

Key tasks include inventory activities, keeping work areas safe and organized, and providing cross-team support as needed. Fluency in English is required and RF scan guns may be used.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Pallet jack experience.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to read a tape measure and ruler; read calipers.
• RF scan gun knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to/from production stations and racks using forklifts, carts and pallet jacks.
• Meet productivity standards and attendance requirements while following safety rules.
• Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts; alert management to issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment safety.
• Support other production teams or functions as needed.
