Job summary

Great Northern – Chippewa Falls is seeking Forklift Operators to join our growing manufacturing team. The position offers 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 2:45pm–11:15pm, Fri 1:30pm–7:30pm) and 3rd shift (Sun-Wed 11:00pm–7:15am; Thu 11:00pm–6:00am).

Starting hourly wage is $22.75 with a $1.50 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts. Responsibilities include loading for customer deliveries, forklift operation, quality checks, LP tank changes, shrink-wrapping, and maintaining attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on 2nd or 3rd shift as listed.

Responsibilities

• Loading product for customer pick-up and prepares Common Carrier, UPS, RPS, and Federal Express Deliveries for shipment.
• Operating industrial forklift truck to assist in unloading and loading raw materials and product from trucks and trailers, while checking for proper material and count quality.
• Following Great Northern's quality procedures for accuracy and quality, randomly checking a minimum of one order per day.
• Changing LP tanks safely, following written guidelines, or recharges electric forklift as needed.
• Shrink-wrapping units as needed in preparation for shipping.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned

• 2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday 2:45pm pm- 11:15pm, and Friday, 1:30pm pm to 7:30pm
• 3rd Shift - Sunday through Wednesday 11:00pm - 7:15am and Thursday 11:00pm to 6:00am

Our Forklift Operators are Responsible For:
