Great Northern – Chippewa Falls is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. The role involves loading, unloading, and preparing shipments, operating a forklift, and ensuring accurate counts.

The schedule is 1st shift, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with starting hourly wage of $22.75 plus a $1.50 shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift. Expect safety-conscious work and steady attendance while contributing to quality processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related manufacturing or machine operating experience.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Load product for customer pickup and prepare shipments.
• Operate forklift to unload/load from trucks and trailers.
• Follow quality procedures and verify orders daily.
• Change LP tanks and recharge forklift as needed.
• Shrink-wrap units for shipping readiness.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.

Forklift Operator

Great Northern – Chippewa Falls is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our growing manufacturing team! Are you ready to make a difference?

1st Shift – Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Starting hourly wage is $22.75 with an additional $1.50 shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Loading product for customer pick-up and preparing Common Carrier, UPS, RPS, and Federal Express deliveries for shipment.
• Operating industrial forklift truck to assist in unloading and loading raw materials and product from trucks and trailers, checking for proper material and count quality.
• Following Great Northern’s quality procedures for accuracy and quality, randomly checking a minimum of one order per day.
• Changing LP tanks safely, following written guidelines, or recharging electric forklift as needed.
• Shrink‑wrapping units as needed in preparation for shipping.
• Maintaining regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 to 3 years of related manufacturing or machine operating experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and correctly read a tape measure.
• Ability to meet product specifications and quality standards of our Customers and Great Northern – CF.
• A strong understanding of the importance of safety.
• A team player who is driven to learn every day.
