The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading the production team in performing various tasks related to the production and packaging of beverage products. Supervises and supports all areas of manufacturing by helping hold team accountable, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, inspecting all products for quality, assisting with packing, quality control and the assembly of items for sale. (Will perform responsibilities with input and oversight from the GM/VP of Manufacturing.)

  • 2 Shifts available: Shift 1: 6:30am - 3pm OR Shift 2: 2:30pm - 11pm**

Principal Responsibilities

  • Supports management by communicating and delegating tasks to the production team and helping hold them accountable for execution/completion
  • Communicates and builds consensus amongst the team
  • Utilizes solid aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving to recommend solution options
  • Upholds compliance and regulatory requirements at all times; maintains the reputation of the company
  • Commits to providing high quality products to clients including the packing and presentation of the products
  • Assigns workers to specific job functions
  • Acts as point person for Production Team
  • Displays a positive and motivating attitude, continuously improving through feedback
  • Enforces company policies and all safety protocols
  • Fulfills other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • College degree a plus
  • Previous packaging and assembly work experience is required
  • Experience in manufacturing or related field is required
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English is required
  • Bilingual Spanish Preferred
  • 21 years of age or older (required)

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive while standing for extended periods of time
  • Able to complete tasks in timely manner and be familiar with placing labels on packages, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Maintain equipment in good working condition
  • Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow health guidelines set forth by the company and the state, while processing cannabis product

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a stationary position for 75% of the time
  • Must be able to keep the flow of production moving
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for an extended period of time
  • This position is in a busy manufacturing facility subject to frequent interruptions and loud noises
  • Must have excellent manual dexterity and personal hygiene
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, pinch, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift
  • Must be able to work full-time 5 days a week
  • Available for occasional overtime as needed
  • Clear vision, speech and hearing

Experience

  • Packaging: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Food Handling (Required)

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday (Weekends as needed)
  • Shift 1: 6:30am - 3pm
  • Shift 2: 2:30pm - 11pm
