Job summary

CAPTEK Softgel International is hiring for Production and Manufacturing positions in Cerritos, CA. Open roles include Production Line Workers, Machine Operators, Quality Inspectors and Custodian/Facility Maintenance staff.

Shifts available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with shift differential pay. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and some experience in food, pharmaceutical, or dietary supplement manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous food manufacturing, food processing, industrial baking, pharmaceutical, and/or dietary supplement production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Move bulk materials between locations as required.
• Conduct manual mixing and ingredient addition.
• Perform in-process checks and quality verifications.
• Use temperature probes, scales, water activity meter, and moisture analyzer.
• Receive and handle materials from ware­house; scan materials and WIP in ERP.
• Handle gummy collection, coating, and inspection.
• Stack and secure trays, transport to Dry Room; read MMR and fill batch records.
• Complete trainings and perform line clearance and calibration tasks.
• Participate in safety inspections and daily/weekly housekeeping tasks.

Summary: Our Production Teams are looking for Production Line workers, Machine Operators, Quality Inspectors, and Custodian/Facility Maintenance workers.CAPTEK® is ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for Production and Manufacturing positions.

1st Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

2nd Shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Shift differential pay offered)

3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (Shift differential pay offered)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Following cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Moving bulk materials
• Manual mixing and adding ingredients
• In-process checks
• Use of temperature probe, scales, water activity meter, moisture analyzer
• Requesting, receiving, and handling materials from warehouse
• Scanning materials and WIP (work-in-progress) in ERP (Enterprise resource planning system)
• Handles Gummy Collection, Gummy Coating, and Gummy Inspection
• Stacking and securing trays to carts and transport to Dry Room
• Reading MMR (Master Manufacturing Record)
• Filling out Kitchen portion of batch record
• Complete various trainings such as corporate, job specific, and cross training
• Chemical mixing & handling
• Line Clearance
• Maintenance & Calibration work order creation
• Safety Inspections
• Daily & weekly tasks such as mopping, refilling PPE (personal protective equipment), self-inspections (facility)
• Other tasks as assigned

• Previous food manufacturing, food processing, industrial baking, pharmaceutical, and/or dietary supplement production and manufacturing experience preferred
