Qualifications

Production / Manufacturing / Forge Utility Worker

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing / Production / Forge Utility Worker to join our team. This role involves working in a heavy industrial environment, assisting with maintenance, and supporting forging operations.

Hours

• Production / Forge Utility: 5:30 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday, with some overtime on Saturdays

Essential Job Duties

• Grinding material defects
• Coordinating pre-forging loads
• Loading and unloading furnaces
• Removing scrap and recording weights
• Repairing forge tools and equipment
• Maintaining furnaces, lathes, presses, and saws
• Assisting with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs (helpful but not required)

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading
• Forklift operation
• Preventative maintenance
• Shop math and computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., occasional lifting up to 65 lbs.
• Varying temperatures in summer and winter

Helpful experience includes maintenance, machine operation, measurements, manufacturing, working with hand tools, grinding, sanding, heavy equipment operation, and shop math.
