Job summary

Accumold is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Production to lead engineering efforts across molding and assembly, driving improvements in quality, cost, and cycle times. You will collaborate with production leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize processes, train operators, and implement best practices for both Micromold and Small Mold lines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience in plastics molding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in plastics molding, injection molding, mold building, or secondary assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services to improve manufacturing performance and profitability.
• Prioritize maintenance timing with production leadership.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for tooling and processes.
• Develop best practices for Micromold and Small Mold teams.
• Optimize secondary operations and document processes for training.
• Lead continuous improvement projects in the facility.
• Learn processing of micro- and small-molding machines to troubleshoot issues.
• Stay current with equipment, process controls, and materials developments.
