Job summary

Schneider Electric in El Paso, TX seeks a Production Manufacturing Engineer to implement ETO standard processes for Methods and Maintenance, driving continuous improvement and optimizing line architecture. You will set performance targets, monitor KPIs and lead cross-functional improvements across the plant, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, 3+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, and a proven ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a similar role.
• End-to-End view with the ability to define and deploy standard processes for all plant functions.
• Project management experience.
• Experience in continuous improvement through lean methodologies.
• Strong ability to influence and convince stakeholders; resilient and curious.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and deliver results; strong network management.
• Team player and team builder.

Responsibilities

• Implement ETO standard processes for Methods and Maintenance within the plant; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain standards with defined performance targets.
• Establish and promote Methods and Maintenance as a structured management system.
• Define annual improvement objectives with the Plant GM and monitor progress.
• Implement tools and methodologies for efficient, reliable manufacturing operations.
• Monitor KPIs: productivity, plant efficiency, capacity utilization, capacity analysis.
• Drive and monitor the transformation plan to achieve results.
• Prioritize critical improvement initiatives and maintain momentum.
• Support the Methods/Maintenance Manager in improvements.
• Lead the Line Architecture Design Methodology (LADM) implementation to optimize flow and resource use.
• Determine standard manufacturing times using industrial engineering techniques.
