Job summary

Responsibilities include vendor management, POs, and daily coordination with overseas partners to ensure on-time delivery. Office-based 5 days a week with strong negotiation expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of production/sourcing experience.
• Experience with Costco processes and procedures.
• Strong garment costing knowledge and factory negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with sales, planning, tech, fabric, design/product development, overseas offices and agents.
• Manage production team activities and adjust to changing priorities.
• Negotiate critical dates for time and action and approve each style.
• Monitor and adhere to the Time and Action calendar.
• Communicate daily with overseas and internal departments to resolve delivery-impacting issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in production.
• Address logistical concerns with internal departments and overseas offices, vendors and agents.
• Keep senior production staff updated on quality or delivery risks.
• Communicate production calendar issues to all internal and external departments.
• Collaborate with sales on delivery extensions as needed.
• Issue POs to vendors and factories.
• Create memos on shortages/overages.
• Resolve production issues through cross-functional coordination.
• Monitor weekly WIP reports from factories/vendors.
• Review and approve shipment extensions.
• Approve vessel bookings with Import department.
