Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. in Newton, IA is seeking a Production Manager to lead production activities across shifts, drive safety culture, and ensure quality and on-time output. You will manage staff, monitor performance, and partner with managers to meet manufacturing objectives.

The role requires a strong background in operations, budgeting and team development, with deep knowledge of welding, assembly, or painting preferred. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
• 3-year knowledge of welding, assembly or paint preferred.
• Read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, budgeting/expense management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct production activities and staff to meet safety, quality and schedule goals.
• Monitor plant performance and develop reports and metrics.
• Coordinate plant activities with department managers to achieve objectives cost-effectively.
• Develop systems and targets to measure plant performance and progress.
• Train and develop employees, identify high-potential talent, and ensure succession readiness.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and ethical conduct; support a positive culture.
