Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience with water-based polymer emulsions, adhesives, coatings, or specialty chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement.

Job description

This new role in our Martin, SC facility is responsible for leading the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of water-based emulsions polymers with focus on adhesive products. This role ensures manufacturing operations meet customer requirements, quality standards, and business objectives while driving continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve quality, delivery, and cost targets, always prioritizing safety.
• Manage production schedules, capacity, and inventory to meet customer demand.
• Ensure compliance with legal aspects, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives optimizing the performance and utilization of the production unit.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop production teams.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, R&D, and Commercial teams.
• Support new product launches, know-how transfers and process improvements.
• Manage manufacturing budgets and productivity programs.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in water-based polymer emulsions, adhesives, coatings, or specialty chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
