Job summary

The Pivot Group Network, based in West Michigan, is seeking a Production Manager for the St. Johns, MI area to lead daily production operations and drive efficiency. You will develop schedules, mentor staff, and work with supply chain and engineering to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of manufacturing experience with leadership, and a solid grasp of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to reduce costs and improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and meeting targets.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and delivery targets.
• Manage and mentor production staff, including performance reviews and training.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with supply chain and engineering to resolve production issues.
• Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
