Peli BioThermal in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Production Manager to lead multiple manufacturing departments in a fast-paced environment. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while ensuring efficient, on-time production aligned with the highest standards.

As a key operations leader, you will develop teams, optimize processes, and partner across functions to deliver operational excellence and support business growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management in a manufacturing, fast-paced setting.
• Strong people skills as a team leader, coach, and a team player.
• Clear communication skills and ability to share company vision to increase employee engagement.
• Ability to quickly learn technology and improve use of technology to boost productivity.
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of ISO guidelines.
• Understanding and implementation of 6S and Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma techniques.
• Identify and resolve problems using tools like 5 whys, Fishbone, DMACI, PDCA, CAPA, Pareto charts, A3.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA and EH&S standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple production departments to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Develop and execute production strategies aligning with objectives and priorities.
• Drive daily manufacturing performance by managing schedules, capacity, labor, and resources.
• Establish operational metrics and use data to improve productivity and overall performance.
• Manage budgets, labor utilization, and manufacturing costs to meet financial targets.
• Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and others to support goals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Promote SQDC principles and data-driven decision making.
• Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and team members to build capability.
• Foster safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, cGMP, ISO, QMS and company standards.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and support physical inventory and material control.
• Drive accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
