Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a Production Manager in Training to learn all aspects of our manufacturing operations in a truss and panel plant. The program blends on-the-job and classroom training under the Plant Manager, with a 9–12 month journey that may include travel to other facilities with company assistance.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with full benefits after 60 days. The role emphasizes safety, mentorship, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus bachelor's degree, industrial engineering preferred.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly to changing priorities.
• Empathy and willingness to support the development of others.

Responsibilities

• Mentorship of production associates.
• Maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Ensuring efficient flow in manufacturing.
