Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc is seeking a Production Manager I to provide overall manufacturing support and oversight for assigned programs. You will drive production scheduling, materials readiness, and cross-functional collaboration to meet project timelines.

The role requires knowledge of electrical construction, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to mentor staff toward SME status while maintaining open communication with customers and internal teams. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years field electrical experience as a licensed electrician preferred
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and QA/QC
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Oversee production programs to ensure consistent management and execution
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Prepare and manage bills of materials for each production program
• Coordinate manpower with the BVA lead to meet scheduling demand
• Ensure QA/QC processes are followed and maintained
• Collaborate with program management to align with customer needs and timelines
• Support safety initiatives and maintain safe manufacturing practices

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY

The Production Manager I is responsible for providing overall manufacturing support and oversight for their assigned program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage directives to ensure all production programs are overseen and managed consistently on programs that are simplistic in scope and technical complexity.
• Initiatives and thinking BIG on ways to improve production processes.
• The necessary bill of materials list for their respective production program.
• Adheres to product design is followed on the manufacturing floor.
• Coordinate with the BVA lead for the necessary manpower to match the production scheduling demand.
• Assists with ensuring QA/QC processes are followed and adhered to.
• Collaborate with the program GF in creating and maintaining production schedules.
• Coordinate with the program management teams regarding customer needs and timelines.
• Collaborate with the Safety Team to ensure safe manufacturing practices are being followed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Knowledge of construction and electrical industry preferred.
• Must possess the ability to run the least technical programs, work with site and staff as required, and grow into being the technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) for their respective production program while maintaining transparent internal and external customer relations.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
• Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
• Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US

• Associates and/or Bachelors Degree in technical field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years field electrical experience as a licensed electrician required.
• Minimum 7 years field / industrialized construction and/or manufacturing industry experience required. A combination of each is acceptable.

WORKING CONDITIONS

General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite. We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
