A leading global provider of water, hygiene and energy technologies is seeking a Production Department Leader in Joliet, Illinois. The role involves leading a production team, ensuring safe work practices, and monitoring key metrics for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in manufacturing and direct line leadership.
The Production Department Leader will directly lead the Department, including a Production Area Lead, Production Team Lead, and all hourly employees for the designated Department to make reaction based chemical products in this ISO 9000 certified facility. You will also lead production engineers and a maintenance planner with a dotted line reporting structure to you. You will interact with Divisional Business Leaders, Global Supply Chain functional leaders, and peers on the Site Leadership Team to continuously improve and develop the processes in chemical manufacturing: Engagement, Safety, Quality, Planning, Procurement and Distribution.
The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
