Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical, Business or Mechanical Engineering.
• Several years of progressive supervisory/management experience in plant operations within food or beverage manufacturing.
• Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of GMPs and familiarity with SOPs.
• Exposure to continuous improvement, employee involvement techniques, and change management.
• Basic understanding of OSHA and FDA regulations.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to practical applications.
• Excellent follow-up skills and results-oriented with strong team involvement.
• Ability to lead and drive change while maintaining high employee engagement.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills for maintaining a positive working environment

What You Will Be Doing

• Infrastructure Provisioning: Tools like Terraform (the industry standard), OpenTofu (the open-source alternative), and Pulumi (which uses real programming languages instead of configuration languages) are used to build networks, servers, and cloud resources in a declarative, cloud-agnostic way.
• Cloud-Native Tools: The major cloud providers offer their own deeply integrated solutions, though they come with vendor lock-in. These include AWS CloudFormation/CDK, Azure Bicep, and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Configuration Management: While provisioning tools set up the hardware or cloud infrastructure, tools like Ansible (agentless via SSH/YAML), Chef, and Puppet manage the software, operating systems, and user permissions inside those servers.

What You Bring To The Job

• Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering, Chemical, Business or Mechanical Engineering field
• Several years of progressive supervisory/management experience in plant operations within food or beverage manufacturing
• Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
