Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the Westville motor plant operations in accordance with company policies, guidelines and procedures. Be a champion of continuous improvement and well versed in the principles of Lean Flex Flow while continuing to foster an environment in which Safety of employees is the top priority and have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.

The work model for the role is: - Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion NEMA Motors division in Westville, OK area.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable To

  • Foster and cultivate an environment where Safety of the employee is top priority while not losing focus on the timely delivery of product to the customer.
  • Create and sustain a clean, safe working environment that meets world class standards.
  • Responsible for plant production goals and quality levels.
  • Will be responsible for establishing shift production schedules, and select and help train supervisors.
  • Help create and maintain a high morale, union free workplace. Involve employees by listening, communicating and follow up.
  • Key role in development of plant budgets, forecasts, annual plans.
  • Will work with other disciplines within the facility to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications For The Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field. Associates Degree AND 6 years’ experience; Bachelor’s Degree AND 4 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 6 years in engineering, operations, or related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially the us of MS Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills.
  • Travel required - 0-5%
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
