Position Overview

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall leadership of production operations, including safety, quality, staffing, performance management, continuous improvement, and operational execution.

This role requires a leader who understands the complexities of high-volume manufacturing environments. Printing experience is a critical requirement, as this position oversees a substantial printing operation and must understand printing processes, production workflows, quality standards, and operational challenges associated with print manufacturing.

In addition, plastics manufacturing experience is highly preferred, particularly within plastic packaging, injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion, or related manufacturing environments.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve operational results.

Ideal Background
  • 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Experience leading large hourly production teams through front-line supervisors.
  • Direct printing manufacturing leadership experience is required.
  • Strong operational leadership experience within plastics manufacturing or packaging environments.
  • Experience in plastic packaging, injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion, or related processes strongly preferred.
  • Proven success improving safety, quality, labor productivity, and operational performance.
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and change management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
