Job summary

Irving Knight Group is seeking a Production Manager for a packaging manufacturing facility in Texas. The role leads manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals, safety and quality targets are met.

You will oversee multi-shift teams and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning and Warehouse to optimise plant performance. The role requires hands-on leadership, coaching production supervisors and operators while driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Packaging industry experience.
• Proven experience in a production management leadership role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM or 5S.
• Proven experience driving improvements in production levels, safety, quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day production activities across the facility.
• Ensure production plans are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Manage, coach and develop production supervisors, team leaders and operators.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, risk assessments and relevant legislation.
• Monitor key performance indicators, including output, waste, downtime, efficiency, labour utilisation and on-time delivery.

Production Manager - Packaging Manufacturing - Texas

Irving Knight are partnered with a large Packaging Manufacturing organisation, seeking a new Production Manager for their 100 person facility in Texas.

You will be tasked to lead manufacturing operations within the plant, ensuring that production goals are hit and safety and quality targets are adhered to.

This is a hands-on leadership role, managing production teams multiple shifts and working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning and Warehouse functions to optimise plant performance.
