Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a production team across machining, fabrication, assembly, and finishing
Drive shop floor execution and continuous improvement in a job-shop environment
Use ERP systems to manage scheduling, inventory, and labor tracking
Collaborate with engineering and sales to ensure feasibility, timing, and profitability
Champion cross-training, communication, and accountability across departments
Analyze capacity and workflow to inform capital equipment and staffing decisions
Maintain safety, quality, and on-time delivery standards in a dynamic, custom setting

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership (supervisor, foreman, or manager level)
Strong knowledge of CNC machining, welding, press brake, laser/plasma cutting, and related processes
Comfortable in low-volume, high-mix production settings (job shop or custom fabrication)
Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence and people skills
Experience using ERP systems for scheduling and shop operations
Proven ability to stabilize teams, implement process improvements, and lead with empathy
