About The Job

As our Production Manager, you’ll lead the team that brings our liquid supplement products to life. You’ll plan and assign work across the production floor, coach and develop your people, and keep quality, productivity, cost, and safety in balance every day. Just as important, you’ll champion continuous improvement—recommending better methods, equipment, and processes that help us keep raising the bar.

Shift & Schedule

This role is on Shift B, a rotating 14/14/12 schedule with two alternating work patterns:

  • Week Pattern 1: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
  • Week Pattern 2: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

You’ll work two consecutive weeks on one pattern, then rotate to the other pattern for the next two consecutive weeks.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop your production team—and make sound employment decisions
  • Plan, assign, and prioritize daily work across the department
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to deliver strong results in every area
  • Resolve employee issues and build positive, effective team relationships
  • Track departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and share regular progress reports with the Plant Manager
  • Monitor inventory levels and keep the department stocked and on schedule
  • Train all production employees and keep their skills current
  • Continuously improve production methods, equipment, procedures, and working conditions
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 5+ years of related manufacturing or production experience (quality management experience is a plus)
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, train, and get results through others
  • A track record of balancing safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations
  • A continuous-improvement and systems mindset, with strong attention to detail
  • Solid problem-solving and inventory-management skills
  • A hands‑on, team‑first leader who’s ready to put in additional hours when production calls for it—showing up for your crew and helping the plant deliver when it matters most
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, plus the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A collaborative team player who’s comfortable with computers and everyday business tools
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment—mostly office-based, with time on the production floor where PPE such as safety glasses and hearing protection is required in some areas
What Success Looks Like

In your first year and beyond, you’ll know you’re thriving in this role when you are consistently:

  • Safety first: keep your team injury-free, with zero lost‑time incidents
  • Quality: hit first‑pass yield of 98% or better and keep customer‑reported defects low
  • Efficiency: run assigned lines at 85%+ equipment effectiveness (OEE), with unplanned downtime under 5%
  • On plan and on time: meet 95%+ of the production schedule and 98%+ on‑time, in‑full delivery
  • Cost and materials: keep costs within 3% of standard, minimize scrap, and maintain 99%+ inventory accuracy
  • Team development: reach 100% training completion, with turnover and overtime within budget
The Perks of Joining Our Team
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage—plus a few weeks of paid parental leave when it matters most
  • Paid time off and holidays to help you unwind and recharge
