Overview

Growing Consumer Products Manufacturer in Fall River, MA has a need for a Production Manager. This is a direct hire opening with a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
• Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
• Ensure output meets quality standards including product specifications
• Ensure output meets product quality, safety and industry standards for sanitation
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
• Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) needed to achieve goals and targets
• Work with Facilities Manager to coordinate maintenance work, purchasing of equipment, supplies, etc.
• Motivate, support and provide guidance to production staff
• Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
• Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
• Set productivity goals for each manufacturing team
• Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality

Key Job Requirements

• Deep knowledge of production management

• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software

Education/Experience

• BS/BA in business administration or relevant field is preferred
• Experience with ISO22716, ISO9001, GMP or related standard a plus
