Job summary

MAKA HOMES INCORPORATED in Orland Park, IL seeks a Residential Remodeling Project Manager to lead kitchen, bathroom, and basement projects from start to finish.

You will coordinate schedules, field teams, vendors, and client communications, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time closeout across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Buildertrend and MS Office is a plus; high school diploma required with construction management background preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing remodeling projects with scheduling, resource coordination, and field supervision.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices, codes, safety, and QC.
• Ability to read blueprints and project docs; proficient in basic documentation and reporting.
• Excellent communication with clients, trades, suppliers, and internal teams; negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with Buildertrend and MS Office; experience with construction management software is a plus.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Previous Production Manager/Site Supervisor role in construction/remodeling preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites around Orland Park, IL.
• High school diploma required; further vocational training or degree in construction management is an advantage.

Lead exceptional kitchen, bathroom, and basement remodeling projects from production handoff through final walkthrough, punch list, and closeout.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

Project schedules, field teams, trade partners, vendors, and materials

Client communication, documentation, and day-to-day issue resolution

Buildertrend workflows, change orders, purchasing, and cost control

Quality inspections, punch lists, closeout, and team accountability

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE

• Demonstrated experience in construction or remodeling project management, including scheduling, resource coordination, and field supervision.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices, building codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents; proficiency with basic project documentation and reporting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, trades, suppliers, and internal teams, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, scheduling tools; construction management software is a plus...we use Buildertrend).
• Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a Production Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar role within the construction or remodeling industry preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites in and around Orland Park, IL as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational training or a degree in construction management or a related field is an advantage.
