Job Description

We're working with a well-established and growing manufacturer in the Greater New Haven, MI area that is looking to add an experienced Production Manager to their team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong lean manufacturing background who can drive continuous improvement and lead a team of direct report supervisors across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop supervisors and production employees across multiple departments
• Manage and optimize department performance including quality, process improvements, and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Develop, implement, and enforce process control
• Oversee training and development of production staff
• Compile and generate production related reports

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong lean manufacturing background required
• Industrial engineering background a plus
