Job summary

MONROE TRUCK EQUIPMENT, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Joliet, Illinois, is seeking a Production Manager to coordinate and manage shop operations including Truck Equipment installation, Paint, Quality Control and Pick Up & Delivery under the Plant Manager. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across departments.

The incumbent will lead production activities, train personnel, establish standard work procedures, and drive process optimization while ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in vehicle or other industrial equipment assembly.
• 5+ years' experience leading people.
• Working knowledge of Excel, ERP Systems, Word, Outlook, Teams.
• Experience with defined problem-solving methodologies (3L – 5 Why).
• Ability to work with teams to establish standard work procedures.

PRODUCTION MANAGER

POSITION:

The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of the shop operations to include Truck Equipment installation, Paint, Quality Control and Pick Up & Delivery with the direction of the Plant Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in vehicle or other industrial equipment assembly
• 5+ years' experience leading people
• Working knowledge of Excel, ERP Systems, Word, Outlook, Teams
• Experience with defined problem-solving methodologies i.e. 3L – 5 Why
• Ability to work with teams to establish standard work procedures
