Job summary

Litens Automotive Group in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the transition from product launch to serial production within a Value Stream. You will ensure safe plant operations while achieving targets for quality, labor, and cost.

The role requires five years of leadership in automotive manufacturing, strong Lean knowledge, and the ability to forecast staffing needs, train teams, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain Production KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum college diploma or relevant work experience.
• Minimum five years of leadership in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Principals and Concepts.
• Familiarity with P&L, materials planning, procurement and labor budgeting.
• Proficient PC use and MS Office.
• May be required to work different shifts and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Value Stream meets safety, quality and production KPI's.
• Facilitate resolution for machine issues and repairs.
• Support PPAP and Tool Trial builds.
• Forecast and allocate appropriate personnel to achieve production requirements.
• Ensure the proper training / re-training of production employees for new products and process changes.

• Functional knowledge of Lean Principals and Concepts
• Familiarity with basic Profit & Loss concepts, materials planning & procurement and labor budgeting
• Comfortable operating a PC and related technology
• Proficient software skills including MS Office
• May be required to work different shifts.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills. Ability to negotiate with suppliers.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for shipping and inventory control.
