Wisenbaker is seeking a Production Manager to lead the countertop manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-schedule production with a focus on quality. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience, 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in a leadership capacity, and strong Lean knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a production leadership role.
• Experience in countertop, stone fabrication, cabinetry, or related manufacturing preferred.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge and production scheduling expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily countertop manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery goals.
• Execute production schedules balancing labor, equipment, and material availability.
• Monitor daily production performance and reallocate resources as needed.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement; develop future leaders.
• Ensure manufacturing adheres to quality standards and customer specifications.
• Drive reductions in scrap, waste, and downtime using Lean initiatives.
• Use KPIs and data to identify trends and improve throughput and labor productivity.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, overtime, and operating expenses; seek cost reductions without sacrificing quality.

Job Purpose

The Production Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our countertop manufacturing facility, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of quality. This role oversees all aspects of production, including scheduling, workforce management, equipment utilization, quality, productivity, inventory flow, and continuous improvement. The Production Manager partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Inventory, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Customer Service, and Safety to ensure production goals are achieved while developing a high-performing team focused on operational excellence.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead all daily countertop manufacturing operations to ensure production, quality, safety, and delivery goals are consistently achieved.
• Execute production schedules while balancing labor, equipment capacity, and material availability to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor daily production performance and adjust resources as necessary to meet changing business demands.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, employee engagement, and continuous improvement while developing tomorrow's leaders.
• Ensure countertops are manufactured in accordance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and established operating procedures.
• Drive reductions in scrap, rework, waste, and production downtime through Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize production metrics, KPIs, and operational data to identify trends, improve throughput, and optimize labor productivity.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, overtime, and operational expenses while identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or customer service.

Qualifications & Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience considered.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in a production leadership role.
• Countertop, stone fabrication, cabinetry, building products, or related manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience managing production scheduling, labor planning, and operational performance.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
