Job summary

Lifetime Quality Roofing is seeking a driven production manager to turn plans into ground results across all Ohio branches. You will lead installs, subcontractors, and customer service, solving issues the same day and holding teams accountable.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day production across all branches—installs, subcontractors, customer service; fix issues the same day.
• Hold coordinators, schedulers, and subcontractors to the standard; coach fast where fixable.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor performance daily; pull a bad crew or flag costly vendors.
• Track production KPIs—cycle time, crew utilization, subcontractor scorecards—and act with urgency.
• Coordinate with scheduling to catch capacity problems before they hit a customer.
• Report issues up early and plainly to leadership.

Job description

The successful production manager can take direction and turn it into results on the ground, every day, across every branch — without needing to be told twice and without letting problems sit.

If you get frustrated watching a good plan fail because nobody made the crew show up, held a sub accountable, or fixed a problem before the customer noticed — this is your job. If you'd rather build process decks and talk about alignment, it isn't.

What You'll Do

• Run day-to-day production across all branches — installs, subcontractors, customer service. When something breaks, you fix it the same day. You don't wait to be told and you don't pass along what's yours to solve.
• Hold construction coordinators, schedulers, and subcontractors to the standard already set. Coach fast where it's fixable. Tell leadership plainly when it isn't.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor performance day to day — pull a bad crew, flag a vendor costing us money or callbacks.
• Track production KPIs — cycle time, callback rate, crew utilization, subcontractor scorecards — and act on them with urgency.
• Coordinate with scheduling to catch capacity problems before they hit a customer.

What You Need

• Real production or field operations experience in roofing or construction — you've run crews and subcontractors
• A track record of hitting targets someone else set, under pressure. This is an execution role.
• Demonstrated ability to hold people accountable — coaching, reassigning, or recommending removal, based on performance.
• Experience managing a subcontractor-heavy labor model
• Good judgment on what's yours to decide today versus what needs to come to leadership
• Working knowledge of industry safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Comfortable with production/scheduling software — we run AccuLynx.
• A degree is a plus, not a requirement. Track record matters more.
