Job summary

Aegis Worldwide and its manufacturing partner in the western Chicago suburbs are seeking a Production Manager to lead on the factory floor and drive production performance. You will work closely with Supervisors, coaching front-line leaders to improve their effectiveness and ensure daily operations stay on track.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on leadership with 10–15+ years in manufacturing, plus the ability to develop supervisors into independent operators while meeting schedules and customer

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership experience supervising 50+ employees.
• Hands-on leader with time on the production floor.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership on the production floor, maintaining a strong and consistent presence throughout the manufacturing operation.
• Work closely with Production Supervisors, providing direction, coaching and support to improve their effectiveness as front-line leaders.
• Develop supervisors so they can independently manage their departments, employees and day-to-day production issues rather than relying on senior management to solve problems for them.
• Manage day-to-day production activities to ensure production schedules and customer requirements are achieved.

Requirements:
