Job summary

Nbutexas in the United States is seeking a Production Manager for Metal Injection/HPDC to lead daily HPDC production, ensure safety and quality, and drive cost efficiency in a state-of-the-art Advanced Casting Technology Development Center.

The role requires hands-on HPDC experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF16949; proficiency with MS Office and maintenance software; experience with tooling design and automation integration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HPDC experience with leadership of production teams.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA/EPA).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience developing SOPs and maintaining quality systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).
• Ability to oversee installation and commissioning of die-casting hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and monitor daily HPDC production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Supervise and mentor production staff, manage schedules, and foster skill development.
• Develop and document SOPs, control plans, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking, performance reviews, and team training.
• Oversee installation and integration of new die-casting machinery and automation systems.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Participate in new product launches, production readiness, and process optimization projects.

Production Manager – Metal Injection/HPDC Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience with high pressure die casting (HPDC) and associated equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing production teams and daily operations.
• In-depth understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to oversee installation and commissioning of die-casting hardware.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
• Experience developing SOPs, production documentation, and managing quality systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).

Production Manager – Metal Injection/HPDC Preferred Background & Skills

• Hands-on experience with flow/thermal/solidification modeling tools (such as MAGMA or FLOW-3D).
• Expertise in die design, gating, venting, runner systems, and troubleshooting tooling issues.
• Experience with robot programming/integration for casting cells (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, or similar).
• Strong project management skills and new product introduction (NPI) experience.
