Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Production Manager for our Bell, California facility. You will own day-to-day operations, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and drive performance across production and packaging teams.

You will oversee scheduling, safety, quality, and efficiency while mentoring a team of 15+ employees. This salaried management role offers growth opportunities and a dynamic, fast-paced culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience leading 15+ team members.
  • Experience with MS Office, WMS, and ideally JDE.
  • Experience monitoring plant ops using spreadsheets or Power BI reports.
  • Knowledge of Lean, World Class Manufacturing or similar principles; implementation experience preferred.
  • Strong people management skills with ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Experience managing a departmental budget.
  • Results oriented with bias toward action and delivery.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Safety minded; industrial safety certification a plus.
  • Ability to document and maintain SOPs and train teams to follow them.

  • Develop and implement Lean initiatives and CI programs.
  • Monitor safety, quality, and output; drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Develop and track production schedules and adjust as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • This is a salaried management position and will report directly to the Plant Manager
  • Serve as a production resource to support efficient manufacturing and packaging operations
  • Ensure peak productivity, quality, and performance throughout the production process
  • Supervise daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Lead production teams in transforming raw materials into finished goods
  • Develop employee motivation and enthusiasm by setting clear expectations, providing training, giving performance feedback, and engaging in ongoing open communication and employee development, as well as encouraging employees to make suggestions
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and other resources to meet operational demands
  • Build team support and gain employee buy-in for new ideas and operational changes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs
  • Monitor production performance and drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and output
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to support production objectives
  • Develop production schedules, then track and follow up on day-to-day operations and make timely adjustments to the schedule to meet production goals.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable occupational health, environmental, and safety policies and procedures

About You:

To be a good fit for this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience over a team of 15+, including training discipline and performance management
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and WMS; familiarity with JDE is a plus
  • Experience monitoring and analyzing plant operations by utilizing spreadsheets, such as Excel, or database reports (Power BI)
  • Knowledge of Lean, World Class Manufacturing or similar principles; direct experience implementing those principles is strongly preferred
  • Strong ability as a people manager, with the skill to motivate and train a team
  • Experience managing a departmental budget
  • A results orientation and a bias toward action
  • An analytical approach to problem solving
  • A professional aptitude in presentation skills
  • A safety-conscious mindset; an industrial safety certification is a plus
  • The ability to document and maintain SOPs, and to train the team to do the same
