Job summary

Irongatetalent in Massachusetts is seeking a manufacturing leader to oversee daily operations, uphold safety, quality, and productivity, and drive team performance.

You will use KPIs and the PDCA cycle to analyze issues, lead continuous improvement, and coordinate with production teams on new product launches and workforce planning.

• Use KPIs to measure performance and drive process improvements.

• Lead continuous improvement to increase throughput and reduce waste.
• Supervise and coach manufacturing team members for consistent performance.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, OSHA, and FDA standards.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability across operations.
• Oversee material availability, product quality, and on-time delivery.
• Facilitate daily/weekly reviews to align with production goals.
• Support new product launches with business and production teams.
• Lead workforce planning and training for flexibility and succession readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Oversee daily manufacturing processes to meet or exceed safety, quality, productivity, cost, and team performance targets.
• Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance and drive process improvements.
• Apply the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) model to analyze root causes and implement lasting solutions when goals are not met.
  Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, eliminate waste, and improve scheduling and efficiency.
• Supervise, coach, and develop manufacturing team members to ensure consistent performance and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements, including GMPs, SOPs, OSHA, and FDA standards.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and employee involvement across all operations.
• Oversee material availability, product quality, and on-time delivery through effective resource allocation.
• Facilitate daily and weekly operational reviews to ensure alignment with short- and long-term production goals.
• Support new product launches in collaboration with business and production teams.
• Lead workforce planning and training programs to build flexibility and ensure succession readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
