Job summary

Artivion, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician to maintain and optimize production equipment in our Austin facility, following TPM principles to minimize downtime and boost productivity.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC and other machinery, document activities, and collaborate with engineers and production teams to implement improvements while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Experience: at least 2 years in production or maintenance; TPM experience preferred.
• Skills: strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting; document maintenance; basic math; read/interpret instructions; English proficient; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure reliable operations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Participate in TPM activities including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Document maintenance activities and repair history using maintenance software and records.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and collaborate with production, engineering, and other teams.
