Job summary

Artivion, Inc. in Austin is seeking a Production Technician to maintain and optimize production equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support TPM activities to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

The role involves working with CNC and manual machining centers, vibratory finishing machines, inspection systems, ultrasonic cleaners, and various hand tools, while documenting activities and collaborating with production teams to drive continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with TPM principles and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and use basic math.
• English literacy and basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize production downtime.
• Participate in TPM activities including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed in all maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and other stakeholders.
