Job summary

Aim Transportation Solutions is seeking a Production Mechanic II to ensure operation of machinery through preventive maintenance on production machines. This is a non-exempt, skilled role reporting to the Charm’s Management team.

The position offers a pay range of $25.25 to $37.00 per hour, with compensation based on education, experience, and other factors in accordance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance on production machines, motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyors per manuals and specs.
• Operate and observe machine operations to ensure product quality and conformity to standards.
• Adjust machine components to meet processing requirements.
• Clean and set up machines for daily production and change tapes or components as needed.
• Troubleshoot jams and minor issues; report major problems to supervisor.
