Production Machine Maintenance Technician
Pay: $28.50- $30.50/hr DOE + Robust Benefits Package
Location: Fort Collins, CO
Shift: Wednesday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (every other Wednesday off)

How you’ll spend your time as a production machine maintenance technician:
- Provide engineering support and maintain equipment and processes for the construction, modification, and improvement of equipment.
- Assist Maintenance Technician staff in training and directing junior staff in equipment operation, set‑ups, and repairs.
- Assist Maintenance Technician staff in training maintenance and production employees on the use, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.
- Assist with maintaining the content of training records for the department.
- Establish and maintain records that demonstrate conformity with FDA, cGMP, and SOP standards.
- Confer with management, quality, and production managers to resolve problems found.
- Maintain process equipment and machinery and perform scheduled maintenance operations.
- Recommend and help implement measures/processes to improve the operating conditions of equipment.
- Assist the Engineering department in process/product layout and design.
- Perform installation of machines and equipment.
- Assist with the maintenance of spare parts inventory, including monitoring levels, initiating requisitions, completing budget review, and ordering necessary materials.
- Requisition maintenance supplies, machinery, parts, and equipment as needed.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and component replacement as needed.
- Participate in the required annual hazardous waste training.
- Hazardous waste involvement may include, but is not limited to, the handling of universal waste such as spent fluorescent tubes, spent filters, batteries, and used oil.
- Respond to spills per CP 030-0202 Chemical Spill Response.
Skills & experience we would like you to have as a production machine maintenance technician:
- 3+ years of production machine maintenance experience.
- Experienced with electrical troubleshooting to root cause, mechanical repairs, maintenance, and setup of production equipment.
- High mechanical aptitude, including the ability to analyze the mechanics of new projects and to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices.
- Computer skills to include Word and Excel.
- Ability to work well with employees and outside contractors.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple job functions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and to squat, kneel, and bend frequently.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Proficiency in welding and machining is preferred.
- Refrigeration experience preferred.
- Clean room experience preferred.
