Job summary

Alcoa's Massena, NY facility is seeking a Production Maintenance Engineer to coordinate maintenance and reliability activities for the electrode team. You will drive ReX-driven planning, lead contractor projects, and ensure alignment across reliability, maintenance, and operations.

You will support operator care of key process equipment, train supervisors, and push for improved availability and reduced unplanned downtime through disciplined execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related industrial specialty.
• 3+ years in operations/maintenance in an industrial process environment.
• Experience in developing maintenance and operations plans to support business goals.
• Familiarity with KPIs and performance metrics.
• Exposure to risk management and process safety concepts.
• Proficient communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Reliability Excellence, maintenance, and operations teams.
• Lead contracted project work: scope, planning, timelines, safe work plan.
• Coordinate maintenance and operational activities across stakeholders.
• Support departments to adhere to standardized planning processes.
