A leading company is seeking a Production Maintenance Line and PM Technician for their facility in Hopland, California. In this role, you will assist in the maintenance and efficiency of advanced production equipment, requiring mechanical expertise and a commitment to safety. With a focus on schedule adherence, you will perform various adjustments and preventive maintenance tasks as part of a dynamic production team. As a Production Maintenance Line and PM Technician, you will assist production personnel in ensuring modern, state-of-the-art production equipment performs at maximum efficiency. Our Hopland facility currently produces 1.5 million 9L cases per year. We operate four production lines, including two recently upgraded bulk glass lines, at a capacity of 125-250 bpm and maintain a dry re-work line. Daily activities include mechanical adjustments to the line machinery and computer touchscreen adjustments that affect the machinery.
Responsibilities
• Assist production personnel in ensuring that production/bottling line equipment can perform at maximum efficiency during production hours
• Use all safety measures as required. i.e., PPEs, alternative disconnect, and lockout/tagout (LOTO)
• Ensure proper adjustments have been made to allow for the timely start-up of the production run
• Perform all mechanical adjustments as required to stay within package specifications
• Change over equipment for product changes, including manual & touchscreen adjustments
• Interface with modern PLC-based equipment using touch screen HMI for setup, recipe changes, and diagnostics
• Perform all mechanical repairs, troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) to bottling lines and related equipment according to work specifications
Must Requirements
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience as a ‘journeyperson’ (journeyman) mechanic in a related field
• Journeyperson / Journeyman level knowledge of mechanics
• Basic PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Word; internet and email
• Work with CMMS Computer Maintenance Management System
• Experience with PLC-based automated production equipment preferred or strong desire to learn
• Successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship, a plus
• Class C Driver's License required
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally, with coworkers, Team Coaches and all levels of management
• This is a 5-day/8-hour per day position, Monday - 7:00am to 3:30 pm; Tuesday - Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Compensation -The hourly range for this role is $32 to $36 per hour.
