Job summary

Aerotek in Union, MO is hiring a General Production Worker / Machine Operator to support a manufacturing operation producing components for construction. Entry-level candidates are encouraged; training is provided.

You will operate equipment, cut and process steel, perform basic assembly, and work as part of a team to meet daily goals on a 2nd shift with overtime and occasional Saturdays. This contract-to-hire role offers union benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome; prior manufacturing experience helpful but not required.
• Willing to perform physical work with steel materials.
• Comfortable in non-climate-controlled environments; overtime possible.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment including saws, presses, and shears
• Cut, process, and prepare steel materials
• Perform basic assembly and fabrication
• Assist with material handling, packing, staging, and general labor
