Job summary

Randstad USA seeks Production Machine Operators to join a precision metal manufacturing facility in Clearwater, FL. You will run established production runs, load/unload parts, and monitor quality, without requiring full machine setup, CAD/CAM, or CNC programming.

Responsibilities include loading materials, operating to SOPs, performing in-process inspections with calipers and micrometers, reporting defects, and keeping production logs. Shift is 2nd after training on 1st.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing, machine shop, or metalworking environment.

• Conduct regular in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and go/no-go gauges).

• Maintain accurate daily production logs.

Job description

We are seeking reliable Production Machine Operators to join a precision metal manufacturing facility in Clearwater, FL. These are operator-level positions focusing on running established production runs, loading/unloading parts, and monitoring product quality. Full machine setup, CAD/CAM, and CNC programming arenot required.

Current Equipment Focus Areas

• Multi-Axis CNC Lathes: Running multi-turret turning equipment.
• Swiss-Style CNC Lathes: Operating sliding-headstock precision machines (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami).
• Mechanical CAM-Drive Screw Machines: Operating high-speed mechanical equipment (requires mechanical aptitude; not CNC or CAD/CAM).
• Multi-Spindle Screw Machines: Operating mechanical multi-spindle equipment (e.g., Davenport, Acme-Gridley).

Key Responsibilities

• Load raw materials/bar stock and unload finished components safely.
• Run established production jobs following standard safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing, machine shop, or metalworking environment.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read basic blueprints and comfortably use precision measuring tools (calipers and micrometers).
• Shift Availability: Must be fully committed to transitioning permanently to a2nd or 3rd Shiftposition following initial training on 1st Shift.
• Reliability: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and commitment to a professional work environment.
• Screening: Ability to successfully pass a standard drug screen and background check. Ability to adhere to a strict no-personal-phone policy on the production floor. MUST TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT.
