Job description

The Production Machine Operator is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of various machinery, ensuring efficient production processes and meeting quality standards. This role may involve setting up machines, conducting troubleshooting, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and assisting in other areas.

Pay: $21.25 hour

Location: Reno, NV

*Must pass background and drug screen including THC

Duties include:

  • Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
  • Monitor machine outputs to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
  • Perform basic, routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate smoothly.
What We Are Looking For
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
  • Able to operate basic machinery (ex. Plasma table, slear, or press brake)
  • Able to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
