Job summary

Nature's Bakery, part of the Mars family, is seeking a dedicated manufacturing operator at our Salt Lake City facility. You will measure and mix ingredients, operate production equipment, and help maintain safety and quality across batches.

This full-time role offers steady hours in a clean, organized environment with opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates will handle equipment changes, use ERP for material handling, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in cold and warm environments.
• Fast-paced work experience.

What will you get to do?

• Measure and Mix with precision, ensuring every batch meets our high standards.
• Operating Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment, including basic machine operation, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Championing Safety and Quality: You'll be a key player in maintaining food safety and quality by following strict guidelines and practices.
• Managing Materials: Utilize an ERP system for material handling, including refilling bulk containers, completing batching paperwork, and supporting bulk bag bailing.
• Working as a Team: Collaborate with team members and uphold company values such as respect, integrity, and teamwork.
• Work with and sanitize heavy machinery and equipment.

Experience that you need to succeed

• Ability to work in both cold and warm environments.

• Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with or ability to perform minor equipment changeovers.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for material handling and HMI for ingredient delivery.

• Ability to complete batching and traceability paperwork accurately.
• Own or be willing to acquire steel toe boots.
• Ability to read, speak and write English.
