Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is hiring Production Machine Operators for its Minneapolis plant. You will be part of a team powering innovation and quality on the production floor, following established procedures and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The role requires manufacturing experience, reliability, and basic technical skills. Overtime and shift options are available, with comprehensive benefits starting Day One and a clear pay progression from $22.57/hr to $26.96/hr after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required.
• Regular, punctual attendance required.
• Basic computer skills for data collection.
• Basic mechanical skills preferred.
• Forklift experience helpful.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Read and comprehend English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, squat, twist, push, pull, & reach above shoulder height.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• All applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with line start-up and shutdown per procedures.
• Set-up styles and adjustments per guidelines.
• Develop, monitor and maintain input reports; check quality at shift start and throughout.
• Maintain a clean line and adhere to safety, quality and attendance policies.
• Communicate with shift supervisor and lead operator on quality, efficiency and material use.
• Demonstrate team building and dedication.
• Follow procedures to operate moving machinery.

What You'll Do:

• Follow all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality, and efficient operations.
• Assist with line start-up and shutdown according to procedures.
• Assist with set-up styles, including necessary adjustments, by use of set-up sheets/guidelines.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain input reports; check quality at the start of the shift and ensure quality of product throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean line, adhere to all plant safety, quality, and attendance policies.
• Maintain communication as necessary with shift supervisor and lead operator to ensure acceptable quality, efficiencies, and material utilization.
• Demonstrate team building and dedication.
• Follow detailed procedures to operate moving machinery.

8 Hour Schedules:

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm

2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am

12 Hour Schedules:

Day Shift 7:00am - 7:00pm

Night Shift 7:00pm - 7:00am
Work only 15 days a month (not including overtime)! Our employees on this schedule enjoy the benefits of a full-time position and an outstanding work/life balance!
Week #1- Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday (48 hours)
Week #2- Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday (36 hours)
