Job summary

Traina Dried Fruit, INC. is seeking Production Product Handlers in California to accurately stage and load the specified lots and bins for production lines, ensuring quality checks before loading onto the line.

This fast-paced role requires lifting up to 30 lbs, working with the Fulfillment Center team, and collaborating to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Prior food manufacturing experience and forklift operation are preferred, with a strong eye for detail and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior working experience in a Food Manufacturing setting preferred
• Sit down forklift driving in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in a teamwork environment
• Strong attention to detail required
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to do repetitive movements of bending, reaching overhead and forward, squatting, and pushing and pulling

Responsibilities

• Responsible to load correct lots and bins for the correct SKUs as listed in the production schedule or work order
• Packs and labels products on production lines or as part of the Fulfillment Center team
• Knowledge of product specs
• Know and follow escalation protocols
• Ensures proper handling of products to prevent damage or contamination
• Inspect products for defects or damage, and alerts supervisors and team members of any product issues
• Occasionally drive forklift to feed lines or load trucks
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently
• Clean up tasks as needed
• Can lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs
