Base pay range

$17.50/hr - $17.50/hr

Position Overview

The Production Line Worker II is a general laborer responsible for safely and efficiently performing duties at a glass recycling facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and sort materials through a production line, which may require standing for extended periods.
• Maintain material flow and ensure quality by completing routine checks on optical sorters and screens.
• Clean designated zones, including conveyors, sorters, platforms, stairs, screens, and floors.
• Wear appropriate PPE as required.
• Follow all safety policies and operational procedures.
• Identify and communicate potential quality issues and equipment problems to supervisors.
• Load and unload vehicles using powered industrial vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to use motor coordination and finger dexterity occasionally.

Physical Requirements

• Bending, standing, walking, sitting, and climbing as needed.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Work Environment

• Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, heights, dust, fumes, and uneven terrain.

Equipment Skills

• Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other industrial trucks required.
