Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Production Line Superintendent for the third shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). You will lead 1–2 production areas, focus on safety, quality, and productivity, and coach a team to achieve continuous improvement targets.

You will apply 5S, root-cause analysis, and Kaizen practices to map value streams, codify standard work, and drive corrective actions across the line. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED plus 3+ years in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities.
  • Experience with 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 1–2 production areas during the third shift; guide teams to safe, efficient operations and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Set and sustain 5S so tools and materials are organized and ready.
  • Own timely responses to product and process nonconformances; document and drive corrective actions.
  • Perform root-cause analyses and coordinate cross-functional support to implement lasting improvements.
  • Champion changes to machines, processes, and materials to improve performance.
  • Advance maintenance, CI and value stream projects to meet or beat schedule.
