Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Production Line Plumber/Brazer for its G&D Chillers site in Junction City, Oregon. The role assembles industrial piping systems for refrigeration equipment, requiring precise workmanship and strict safety standards.

You will measure, cut, fit, braze piping, install valves and components, and read drawings and BOMs to ensure quality and reliability on the production line. Teamwork and adherence to procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble copper and steel piping systems for industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare tubing and pipe according to specifications.
• Braze refrigeration piping using proper techniques and established safety procedures.
• Install valves, fittings, compressors, heat exchangers, and related components.
• Read and follow mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Inspect completed work for leaks, accuracy, and proper installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Job Overview
